CJ Hendry’s viral (and completely free) flower market is coming to Greenpoint this weekend is one of our hand-picked Events finds for New York. The artist’s colorful Flower Market opens on Calyer Street for three days, with free admission and a complimentary bloom for every visitor.
Why New York? New York is the ultimate dense, 24-hour city — five boroughs of iconic skyline, world culture and neighborhood-deep diversity. The city is known for the skyline and Times Square, Broadway, museums and global food.
Good to know: Spring and autumn are ideal; December dazzles for holidays; summer is hot and humid. The 24-hour subway is the fastest way around; Manhattan and much of Brooklyn are very walkable.
