The 24 Hour Plays will see Busy Philipps, Hugh Dancy and more rehearse and perform brand-new works in only a day—and you is one of our hand-picked Events finds for New York. Artists are challenged to come together to write, rehearse and perform new plays and musicals, all in just 24 hours.
Why New York? New York is the ultimate dense, 24-hour city — five boroughs of iconic skyline, world culture and neighborhood-deep diversity. The city is known for the skyline and Times Square, Broadway, museums and global food.
Good to know: Spring and autumn are ideal; December dazzles for holidays; summer is hot and humid. The 24-hour subway is the fastest way around; Manhattan and much of Brooklyn are very walkable.
